Iran is willing to resume nuclear talks with the United States provided that it is handled with "respect" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has stated.

Abbas Araghchi declared only diplomacy produced results, and revealed new appeals had come from mediators to reopen discussions with the American leadership. He asserted Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Iran had not yet reached a point to allow the International Atomic Energy Agency to access struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Walking a Challenging Route

The foreign minister is walking a complex path since Iran does not want be perceived to be operating from a position of vulnerability, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had emerged stronger in military terms and emotionally from the coordinated strike on its atomic facilities in June.
