Boxer's Attitude

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
